The Church of the Archangels is located close to the main church of the village of Klimatia (St. Dimitrios). It was probably built in memory of a local monastery of the Byzantine era.
No sources survive about its origins; however, its architectural form and a few framgments of frescoes suggest a date close to that of the churches of St. Dimitrios and Tranfiguration (Klimatia).
The church is single-spaced with a three-sided apse to the east, covered by a mansard. The masonry is made of limestone blocks with a few porous stones. At earlier times, there must be a narthex to the west.
No decoration survives in the interrior; only a simple icon screen, painted with olive green and brown hues (1812). Its main icons (Christ and Virgin Mary) were painted by the famous Ioannite painter Petros Georgiadis, in 1840.
