St. Dimitrios in Klimatia is the main Church of the village, built in 1558. It is cruciform, rectangular in shape, with single-space nave, a three-sided apse and a narthex. Two vaults form the ceiling, while the roof is made from stone slabs. The current form of the monument is a result of various interventions made in later times.
The monument is decorated with frescoes, dated in diferent periods, from the second half of the 16th century up to the late 17th or early 18th century. They cover the major part of the nave, the arches, the Bema and partially the parthex. They include litourgical scenes (Bema), the imposing figure of Christ Pantokrator among Angles and Prophets, scenes from the lives of Christ and Virgin Mary, the Passion (especially the Crucifixion), as well as numerous figures of saints in the nave.
