It is considered as one of the most important archaeological sites in Erpirus, dated to the Early Christian era (4th-7th c. AD). During the excavations, two basilicas came to light, as well as a fortification tower.
Basilica A has three aisles, a tripartite transept to the East and a narthex. The highlight of the monument is its mosaics, preserved mostly at the central aisle and the narthex. Their decoration themes are geometrical motifs and scenes. They are dated in two separate phases: one at the end of the 5th and the other at the middle of the 6th c. AD.
Basilica B is located southern and just part of if its apse is visible. However it is a huge monument, probaly bigger than Basilica A, also decorated with mosaics. A little further, one can find the ruins of an octagonic tower, part of an unknown fortified settlement.
